The European Green Belt (EGB) Initiative is a cross-border conservation initiative unifying over 150 partner organizations from 24 countries to collectively preserve the European Green Belt, an endangered nature reserve that spans the length of the European continent. 

My task is to support the initiative in their communication efforts in order to reach more people, create a sustainable impact and accomplish their goals. With an initiative that unites so many independent charities and on top of that consists of organizations with such different backgrounds, sizes, languages and locations throughout Europe, this is quite a challenge.

On the basis of a thorough status quo and needs analysis, I’ve developed a communication strategy including a new branding, a new self-description and an exemplary project presentation that serves all EGB members as a template. The next step is bringing the strategy to life by empowering all partner organizations. I can’t wait for our upcoming virtual, pan-European workshops!
